About Us

We fell in love with travel first, and then with each other. Abbey grew up in Wisconsin, Ryan's a New Jersey native, and these days we call Miami home base, when we're not somewhere else entirely. Our two dogs come along for the ride whenever we can bring them.

Between us, we've explored 25+ countries, and we've learned that a great trip doesn't have to mean a luxury price tag, though we love a splurge when it's worth it. We've done it all: adventure packed itineraries, culture soaked city trips, slow relaxation getaways, and everything in between.

We work remotely, which means travel isn't just something we do on vacation. It's part of how we live. That's given us a front row seat to what actually makes a trip great (and what doesn't), and it's why we started this blog: to share real stories, honest recommendations, and lessons learned from the road.
